I use a lot of forum sites and the PC normally fills in the login information if I get logged out. If not, I often only have to type the first letter of my username and it comes up with suggested usernames. If I pick the correct one it fills it in on the login box and also fills in the password. This does not work on this site as the site software puts in some nonsense password, leaving no empty box for my PC to fill in the correct one. Why is this? 😡

    Huh?

Your browser remembers that, it’s nothing to do with the remote site whether this one or any other.

I have seen sites, usually large ones with heavy security like PayPal, that seem to not allow saved passwords through some sort of code but I can assure you that is not the case on UKW.

    Re: Logging In

Strange. I don’t think it’s to do with cookies as I cleared those a few days ago and it has not helped. When I try to login there is always a password filled in already. If I click on the password box this disappears but if I then click on username it re-appears. I normally only use Firefox but I just tried it on IE and it did the same. I don’t have login details saved for ukw in IE. 😕

No idea but it works fine for me across Chrome, Safari and IE as well as on the phone using Safari, Atomic and Tapatalk.
