    Hello,

I have a White Knight CL787 automatic condenser dryer. It is making a grinding noise. I am assuming this means the bearings need replacing? Or could it be something else?

I tried removing all the screws I could find but I was unable to remove the front because it was still attached around the condenser. How do I free it?

On the back I managed to remove the cowling around the fan and heater and all was well there, except the seal will need renewing, but I did not remove the fan. Is that just held on by the nut through the middle?

I was hoping if I could remove front and back I could remove any dust and lint etc that may have accumulated over the years.

Is it worth repairing or as it is an old model, would you recommend replacement?

I notice that some hot air is leaking from above the door, so possibly that has warped due to heat and or age and will need replacing too.

    Thanks.
