Good luck to them I say, if they find fixed pricing works then fair enough. These days it’s hard enough getting chargeable work and the market is fiercely competitive more so than ever before. From national companies advertising ” no call out fee ” to sole traders sticking leaflets through letterboxes seeking more custom, it’s a free for all. With large WP’s going tits up small companies are now even more desperate to claw in chargeable work to offset the losses of their meagre contract work. So don’t be surprised more fixed prices will be offered by long surviving local independent companies just to keep afloat.
It’s a minefield out here! 😈

They only offer fixed price repairs for Indesit group appliances, so could it be they subcontract the work outside their area to the Indesit Company?
