    Hi all

    Don’t do that many dishwashers, but I have this Bosch with a leaking circulation pump.
    i Have located the pump on connect, but would like to know the model no of this machine.
    i can’t see any model info on the outside anywhere, but have taken a few pics of want numbers I can see inside…

    Any info on this would be appreciated.. Is a leaking pump a common fault on these, does it need a complete pump! Or is there a replacement seal?

    The model number or ENr is normally etched on the top of the door inner . Its not always easy to see but it should be there. The other place is a small sticker on the left hand side of the door.

    replacement seals available , hit and miss , ive replaced 4 ai the past 12 months 3 worked out 2 didnt just kept leaking , you need tub lifted from base about 3 or 4 inches to get the pump lined up correctly to push into the seal good luck

    Ok thanks..did look for etching around inner door, but couldn’t see.
    Going back in morning to take machine in to workshop for better look

    That emoticon or Smilie was added from the list at the right of the posting box using a normal browser.

    You can add emoticons using Tapatalk if you know the code for them.

    Mistake made in opening post…it’s the drain pump that was leaking!
    Anyway went there this morning, fitted new pump.

    I was expecting a nice tight seal when I twisted the new pump on, but it was no different to the old one that came off, and as expected machine still leaks..

    Can’t see any reason for the leak, although when feeling around the plastic tube that the pump rubber seal presses up against, there seems to be a small opening about a quarter of an inch, but I would say that this is the way it’s made, as there are no rough edges as there would be if a piece had broken off…

    Anyone had similar problems…?

    Have now deemed machine BER , as the heater was also defective..and customer has said she will get a new machine
