Hi There
I know exactly what is wrong with my machine only I do not what part I need to buy and how to repair it?
The flap that closes the ice dispenser in the door of my7 fridge freezer is loose, so normally you press on the lever the flap opens to release ice into your glass, but the flap has become loose and not creating a seal anymore, therefore causing the fridge freezer to frost over around the internal part of the ice dispenser in the door and this is clogging up the flow of ice and not allowing it to flow properly.
I am trying to find out what part I need to buy and if i can replace my self as it’s only the flap in the door that is faulty not the mechanics of the machine.
Please help as Hotpoint are saying £135 call out 😈 , just to look at it, the machine is 6 or 7 years old.
