Hello everyone, My dishwasher is a:

    Hotpont DWF40

Here’s the problem, it washes yet doesnt clean the dishes and am sure it runs through the cycle quicker than normal and doesn’t seem to heat up through out, (if any heat, very little) once finished it quick flashes the fourth light from left (drying) Doesn’t seem to come up with a flashing light fault code :-/

I have filled salt, rinse and tablet in tray. yet it doesn’t seem to open the soap try, and goes through the cycle but alot quicker than normal.

Also have took the dishwasher apart and checked all wires, connectors, boards etc and no clear faults.
I replaced the water heater element with a genuine part yet no effect and also pressed the reset button on the pcb board.
The machine drains water fine and pulls in water fine. and all filters etc are clean. lastly during the cycle it seems to pump water through fine also as you can here it gushing around as a dishwasher normaly sounds.

I cant seem to figure out what is wrong and only hope its not the PCB Board as i dont fancy paying out £70+ for a replacment.

any ideas or tip would be great,

    thanks for reading
    Alex

Basically if you got no heat and you’ve changed the heater and checked the wireing then it’s 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} the board on these.they are prone to he’s issues, check the temp sensor it in the slot next to the dispenser inside the door.

If you sticker on a standard or fast wash and open the door after 15 minutes you should be able to fell good heat by that point. Feel the water temp.

If you find the water is hot it could be the impeller snapped on the wash pump, it will sound a bit different than normal but its not always noticeable. Only the water in the heater heats up and it won’t wash rite.

    Likely board though.
