    I have to unfortunately rent out my house and live with my parents for a while. Can anyone please advise what hoover is suitable for tenants. Once in the past I has to rent out and bought a cheap homebase one and it was totally rubbish. Something around the £50 pound mark if possible. I believe tenants will break a £50 or £200 pound hoover anyway.

    Hi Raj

    I would put a Henry cylinder in there, well made and yes it will stand up to some rough treatment. Cost wise about the £90 mark.

    If you put a £50 odd machine it will not last long at all.
