ParticipantHi
I changed a pcb on one these this evening after going out to it yesterday. It was turning on but had no water indicated on it and would not drain, spin or do anything else other than the door locking. Valves ok so I ordered a board as I’ve had a few of these do this before.
I returned today and fitted the board but now have no motor movement. Started testing everything and looking for damaged cables and even changed the motor but to no avail. It does everthing on every cycle except spin.
Any help is really appreciated as I’m at a bit of a loss on this one.
Many thanks…Dave

Hi
Thanks for the reply… Refurb from EMW. That was my first thought as well but I’ve never had one that let me down yet. Going to go back tomorrow with another motor just in case, failing that I’ll have to send it back to be tested.
thanks again…Dave

Has this same problem a few months back, I fitted a replacement motor, but still had same fault..finally put another motor in and it ran fine… Only difference in the two motors was one extra red lead on the motor plug..although both were new replacements made for that model !
Let us know if you solved the problem

Hi
Sorry for the delay in the reply….
Sent the board back…came back to me repaired as it had a fault that was missed….. so back to the customer again and this time it didn’t even switch on. Didn’t send it back and just asked for another….. Saturday evening 7pm…Bingo!! it worked. 4 visits for £45!! and a crap weekend.
As ever, EMW were as helpful as always in helping out.
Got a Hpt Aqualtis with steam function tomorrow with what sounds to be a knackered board…can’t wait!!
PS.. thats for all the help.

Tbh Iv never changed a 3 phase motor as they never fail, almost always the board and if not the harness.
The motor is the best part of the machine 🙂
