I Have a Bosch UK dishwasher model Classixx SGS43C02BG/35 and trying to use the troubleshooting program with buttons from the left
    1=Normal 65c, 2= Eco 50c,3=Quick35c,4=Pre rinse
I have started the test cycle button 1 and 2 now flashing
then press button 1&2 again to start the test, the wash cycle completed
and button 3&4 remain on after completion
Question is this indication of a fault ?
The dishwasher will run normal 35c wash but will not complete the 50c and 65c temp wash but stops after the prewash no water going into the machine ?
The wash cycle will complete if I fill with cold water and the heater seems to operate ok to50c or 65c

First thing, you have got the model no slightly wrong ( for BG read GB) 😉

Second, that model is subject to the Bosch recall and the Control Module you are messing with is subject to being replace FREE OF CHARGE as it is a FIRE RISK!

Finally, Google ‘repair action’ and get it sorted. 8)

    Thanks Marin
You are right the model number is SGS43C02GB/35
The Dishwasher was subject to the recall and the new control module was installed on Fri 8th Oct 2012 and the Engineer did a quick wash test using the the test mode,He told me the machine was working ok, but I now find the 50c and 65c temp wash cycle are not working as normal but stick after the first rince?

They I know what’s happened…..he hasn’t configured the module correctly. Most likely he fitted it in place first then couldn’t fully configure it. Then left pronto…….

The control module has 5 buttons, only 4 of which accessible when the fascia panel is refitted. But the module should be configured using that fifth button BEFORE it is fitted back into place. I reckon that’s the reason the programmes are all screwed up.

    TEST PROGRAMME………MY ARSE….!! 👿

    Re: Bosch Dishwasher TroubleShooting

i know this is an old post but sounds like I might have a similar mis-configuration issue after the recall and replacement of the timer.
Could such a mis-configuration cause the tablet door not to open during the wash cycle. I have replaced the door but still no joy.
The dishwasher is usable by manually putting the tablet in after the rinse cycle (20 mins).

What is the sequence to programme the timer?
If this isn’t the issue, anyone got any other ideas?
I know the door is working separately as I have tested it and the wiring from the programmer to the door is good

    Any help gratefully received

Not a control unit fault I wouldn’t think and more likely the dispenser solenoid not working.

    Re: Bosch Dishwasher TroubleShooting

Martin, I thought so too which is why I replaced the dispenser door. Didn’t help. I did apply 240 volts to the red solenoid. It does work, it moves quite slowly but does open the door, seems to be expanding wax inside I think which explains the slow movement. I don’t think it is getting 240 volts during the wash cycle. I also checked the wiring from the control unit to the solenoid. So I think it is either the control unit or wiring connection on to the control unit unless it could be the programming of the control unit.

Do you have instructions to programme the control unit?
