Hi all,
I am a ‘joe public’ with a user problem.
We have just moved into a rented property which has an Ariston electric oven topped by a gas hob. Unfortunately there isn’t any instruction paper for this cooker. I don’t even know which model it is. It has three control knobs but I presume it is ancient as the white markings on the knobs have virtualy disappeared. The L.H. knob is headed by two parallel squares, one inside the other. There are faint markings on the knob but they are impossible to read. The centre knob is headed by VAR and the knob has MIN —MAX on it and an associated orange light glows when it is turned to the on position. The R.H. knob is headed by a clock and the knob itself is readable, thereby self explanatory.
Can someone supply us with an explanation particularly for the L.H. knob.
My email, if required, is grumpygit2@gmail.com
Cheers,
Roy
