Morning chaps, I’m after a bit of business advice really.

Up until recently I have traded part time by buying/getting given faulty washers and dryers then repairing them to re-sell in my local area.

I have decided to offer a repair service now but don’t really know what sort of things I should keep on my van.

For instance what carbon brushes should I stock to cover most eventualities and should I buy the onese that you solder in so more options are covered? I ususally order parts for a specific machine because I’m in no hurry to fix the machines I re-sell but I will need to carry stock now.

Can anyone suggest what types of pumps, belts, brushes and anything else I should consider please.

    Thanks…Marcus

The million dollar question! It can take years to get the right balance of van stock when you dont have your own spares retail shop, if you do contract work its easier, if not its dependant on whats popular in your area and what you specialise in, as we are bosch neff siemens dealers we carry more parts for these etc.
