    Hi all. I’ve had the above machine for 6 yrs, have had very few problems but have only recently startedusing the dryer. Yesterday about 5 mins into a 3 hr low heat drying session the cycle stopped and a f-013 error code displayed. There was also a very strong burning smell so somethng has blown. I set the dryer going again this morning but there’s no heat at all. Is it the same heating element for heating the water as well as heating the dryer and will it be an expensive fix? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Either the dryer thermistor is faulty or you dryer fan has failed.

    Its more likely to be blocked full of fluff or the fans faultered/blocked/fell off and tripped the thermal fuse

    u really need unplug it, strip the heater box and have a look tbh.. it may be repairable with no parts, but it might, need to look really

    Thanks for your replies. I’ve taken the top off but can’t see anything obvious. Is it the same heat source to heat the water for a wash as to dry the clothes? Thanks.
