I need help! my dishwasher keeps cutting out, as soon as it nearly reaches the end of the draining cycle(at the begining of it’s program) it stops. Switch it back on and fills ect. fine until it nearly finishes draining, stops in exactly in the same place every time.Pipes are clear and it drains well(put waste pipe in bowl, poured water in machine and drained clear and fully). No flashing light so can’t see it being fault codes. Have noticed when draining waste pipe moves when water is being pumped out so pump is working ok,but the pump seems to be trying to pump water out of the machine when their is none left, cuts out soon after. Have read threads from all over web but can’t see anything similar.Any help would be MOST appreciated, thanks

    Hi
Have you checked the diaphragm switch, if it has one. Take the filters out and check at the 3 o’clock position you may see a black grill needs to be clean shine a torch in and clean with a soft brush as the diaphragm is delicate. It should say F7 IIRC though. this tells the machine if there is water in it or not.

Hi Chalky,Can’t recall seeing it when i cleaned out filters, just a piece of plastic pointing upwards (about 50mm in length,10mm in diameter with lugs at bottom but won,t move. It’s approx 1 o’clock) There is also a small hole at approx 9o’clock.Hopefully their is one, will check as soon as i finish work. Thanks for the reply.
