Hi, I have a Hoover Vision HD 8kg dryer, model no VHC-381. The dryer stops working after 5-7 minutes into operation, it is heating but is cutting out every time, it beeps when it cuts out and some of the lights in the display flash, the condenser and filter have been cleaned regularly and the water trap is emptied regularly.
Any ideas/suggestions ??

Sounds like it’s overheating and cutting out for some reason.
Usually that will be a blockage somewhere but you’ll have to crack it open and have a look see.

I pulled the front off the machine last week and cleared out whatever fluff and dust I could see, where would be the most likely place for a blockage to occur which would cause these symptoms ??

There are four variants of that machine BTW. 😉
All filter housings, ducting are top contenders for a blockage forming. Then you have the water system which, also if blocked, could give an error like that.
Basically, strip it down and clean it out is about the size of it.
