    Dear All,
Please can anyone tell me the cause of my LG’s problem? I select the options, start the machine and then it says DE and beeps for about 15 seconds and then starts. After a couple of minutes it does it again and then starts again – where it left off. The last wash I did took 5 hours and 48mins – on a 1 hour 40 min programme. And that was with me sitting on the brick floor next to it at midnight pleading with it…. . I’ve changed the interlock as that seemed a possible fix but over the last year the stop/start intervals have got shorter and shorter; sometimes it stops within a minute. Is this a known-about glitch and/or is it back to treading the washing in the bath again ? Any help would be very gratefully received .
    Thank you.

look at the door latching pin on the door, does it look straight and does not wiggle, as the pin that secures it comes out of its locating mount at the bottom and causes this problem. a careful inspection of this should reveal all. good luck and watch out for damage to the door glass is you do dimantle it.

    Bob.

    Dear Bob,
Thank you so very much for replying. Sadly I have checked the door latch and pin and they are fine – no wobbles.
Have you any more ideas please? Or is it pointing to a non-fixable part like the Intelo Brain ?
    Thank you very much, bruffy

    Errrrm ??
I take the lack of enthusiastic response to be a bad sign,
Please does Bob or anyone else have any idea what else I can try ?
Or indeed what is the likely cause?
I’m already weary of doing the washing in the bath again and would love to fix the washy washy.
    PLEASE ? Thank you.
