    Looking for a small oven base element for this cooker. Now obsolete. Connect part no. 5031682071540.

    Does anyone have any thoughts on where I might try to get one or if there’s an alternative?

    had a look around and yes obsolete seem to be the order of the day

    long shot

    measure the length of the element and we know the wattage is 1550 watts
    then ring 0151 546 6232 T P Fay ( kirby ) ltd

    this company makes elements and bends them to shape. what you need to ask is can they make an element of this length and wattage. they buy in elements and bend them to shape all you have got to hope is they have one near enough to make it work. if they have you can send the old element and they will copy it. you may not be successful because of the low wattage but if you dont ask you wont know

    Just as a follow up to this. T P Fay did indeed make up a new element for me and the oven is now fully functional again.

    Many thanks Dave for your help on this one.

    I would recommend T P Fay if anyone is stuck for a replacement element.
