    Guys,

    Hopefully an easy one for you guys, been to this machine after one of the thermostats had blown, replaced the element and all was fine for about a week. Now the customer has contacted me to say that while the drier does provide heat it is taking forever to dry clothes (approx 4 hours!!!!).

    I’m due to go back and test the element again but am sure that the problem lies else. Any pointers as to where I should be lookin would be greatly appreciated.

    There are two elements that fit that model depending on the production. Have you confirmed the PNC number and checked the element is the right one? Also remove the side panel and check the connection to the NTC as this can corrode over time on this model.

    Definately the correct element, thanks for the hint on the NTC, I’ll check that, it could well be that it’s shot.
