Just wondering if anyone has had this fault its a triac fault on the control board makes the motor run wild ,so i thought new board 200 quid or replace triac but i’m not sure which one it is there’s two on the board one on a big heat sink which i think is the one the other isn’t on a heat sink so perhaps this is a transistor of some sort would anyone know for sure if this is correct or not i’m a bit of a novice at electronics,Cheers Larry.

Have replaced dozens of the p.c.bs for e62s.
You could trace the cable connections onto board & then via p.c.b track to the component. Hint :- J9 is motor & J12 tacho.

E62 relates to a motor tacho fault so check this first and motor block connections before condeming the board
