Hi new to this forum but hope someone can help. Mt dishwasher as many other posts was working fine but then all sudden on one wash the cycle stops mid way through and when i open the door the water is cold.
presume its the element and replace it with new one, however still the same fault.
having read some posts on this forum i am thinking it may be the thermostat.
does anybody have any ideas if i am going in the right direction with this.
i take it the cycle will stop until the thermostat senses the water is heated up.

Could be the thermostat but you seem to be playing a game we call “Parts Bingo”, just swapping parts until you find the faulty one.
Reading the spares section of the site and the self help will probably offer you the guidance you need to diagnose the problem.
