Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a fault on my cooker and I believe it to be the safety thermastat going by what others have said in the forums, so I ordered the part took the back off the cooker and can’t see anything that looks like the new thermastat I’ve been sent :;(
Has it been updated since they were made and will this be a job that I can do baring in mind I know nothing about cookers 🙂
Any help would be greatly received, many thanks

Hello
I got my brother in law to come over and help me replaced the thermostat but I think I may haverhavereplaced the wrong wire.
We done the red as that’s what was the picture but the fault still remains so I looked back over another there and it seems I have have needed to use the white wire??
Please help beyond frustrated now 🙁Thanks in advance

It’s entirely possible and quite likely that you’ve fried the new stat then Jackie. 🙁

The grill and 3 hobs still work and the fault remains the same, if I were to buy another thermastat and do the same to the white wire would this work?
