I have acquired a second-hand F&P MW512 product number 93121-A-AU washing machine so anything could be wrong it, but I think I have reduced the problem to the pump motor. Following other faults in the forum it would appear that the pump motor thermal cutout could be the cause of my problem.
The machine works perfectly until the end of first rinse – after roughly 3 lint removal hesitations, the machine goes into pause status, and if left to its own devices will restart and continue pumping. The rinse cycle then continues until the spin cycle, when the machine will pump maybe half the water out. It will later resume pumping, sometimes clearing the water before the spin commences. On occasions if there is limited water remaining then the spin cycle will operate with water in the bowl.
If the machine does stop completely at any stage I get error code 00100101 (37).
I also get the same fault code from diagnostic mode.
Action I’ve taken so far, Removed the pump but there was no blockage. Gave the pump hose a blow job, once again no blockage.
I have read that the pump motor should test above 33 ohm (is this figure correct) but which terminals should this reading be taken across? One of the pump connection blocks has two termnials, so I am unsure which terminals to test.
Following other listed faults, I have also taken the cover off and checked the pressure sensor hose but that seems to be without kinks. Do I go any further with disconnecting the hose etc??
That is about as far as I can go without professional assistance. Any other tests and/or conclusions please.
