I need some technical help, the drum bearings on my Hoover have gone i think! The bearings can be seen sitteng proud of housing(?) due to this the belt does not stay on, the maching is very noisy, it is not that old can anybody tell me how to change bearings, the spider is a five legged one which has a spline at it’s centre, I have some diy skills but not of washing machines.

I think “The how to replace the bearings on your appliance” is the wrong question to ask. Although we are here to help, we can not go into such large work explanations, due to legal requirements.
I think you should seek assistance of perhaps one of our members, try using the Directories section and type in your postcode, you will be provided with the contact numbers of an UKW member, if we have one in your area.
