Replacing Miele W504 brushes

    First time I’ve had to change a set of brushes on a Miele, I removed the 4 screws in the plastic back cover and tried to pull it forward.
    The front cover of the plate comes off but doesn’t give access to the brushes.
    I am assuming the whole cover with the brushes should pull forward but didn’t want to force it.
    Are there any hidden clips or anything else I should be aware of with this or should I just pull a bit harder?
    Also:
    I have been given part number 429714 for the brushes, the connect site shows CBN9379 brushes but these look different to the originals shown on connect, are they compatible?

    holder has 4 plugs to connect to field coil 2 left and 2 right just need a bit of jiggling to get it out

    when you put it back leave brushes captive in holder and when installed poke something down holders to release

    Thanks Dave,
    I saw the connectors you are referring to, the plastic holder was a bit flimsy so I wanted to make sure there are no hidden clips.
    I will sort this out when I have the brushes.
