    When turned on Iron Dry starts to flash 8 times,then stops for a period,followed by another 8 flashes,continuously.Also beeps continuously until switched off.Other than this,the machine is dead!
    Have checked heater/motor/pump but all appears well.What can this mean?!?!?

    The NTC has a short circuit. 😉

    Do you mean the heater NTC?

    The sensor NTC in the front duct usually but the error code could mean either so best check then both I would, though access is a pain in the proverbial.:wink:

    Thanks Martin,turned out to be heater NTC!
