Hi, My sister has a MIELE T4839C, it powers up OK, you can select a program it accepts the program and after a short while it says “adjust load” or words to that effect. The drum does not rotate or give out any heat, so I removed the back and found a dome style thermal fuse O/C I removed it and taped the two spade terminal together and tried again, it accepted the program and gave same message on display and again no rotation or heat. Help!! I am failly technically minded and happy using a meter.
Is there an error code I need to reset as the fuse is O/C ? if I replace with a fuse rather that taping connections together will it run?
