You can set the clock OK.
It’s happy with the selector switch in the “O” position.
It’s happy with the selector switch in the “light only” position.
But move the selector switch away from either of those two positions and it flashes – – – C irrespective of whether the thermostat is in the off or on position.
Move the selector back to “O” or “light” and the clock has retained the time.Elements are both fine, resistance and insulation wise.
All other components check out OK and there is no leakage to earth from anything. It is wired in correctly and the socket it plugs into checks out fine with my Martindale.
Can only be one of the PCBs, then.
❓ But WHICH ONE, please?
❓ And does anyone have a part number for the PCBs, please, as this model isn’t listed on MasterPart, Connect, Qualtex or Europart?
Thanks,

Digging around the internet, I found a Romanian website, http://www.componente-accesorii.ro/comp … W47375.htm giving part numbers:
Display module 481213018696
Control module 480121104103 (equates to 481221458615 on MasterPart)
These part numbers are obtainable through our UK suppliers …
❓ But which one is causing my fault, please? ❓

Hi
Have you checked to see if it has a child lock setting on the controls.

Door lock :
1. With knobs (1) and (5) set to “0”, press buttons “ok” and – at the same time for 3 sec. The indicator next to the symbol lights up.
2. The oven functions will not operate while the door lock is activated.
3. To deactivate the lock, repeat the sequence described in point 1November 13, 2012 at 8:42 pm #384493Pigpen4

Thanks, chaps.
Tried that over the phone – child lock on and child lock off, but the fault is still the same. It’s not worth forking out for two pcbs, though, so it looks like a replacement.
Probably something stupid like a capacitor, too, but there’s no obvious signs of any damage to either pcb, unfortunately.

If its not too late try squirting some pcb/switch cleaner on the variable resistors where the knobs are. I have done this and it worked. I think greasy steam gets to the components so they dont work

Thanks, Graham.
He has replaced it, but I think he kept hold of it just in case, so I’ll get back in touch. -
