Dear all, looking for any tech info on General Electric model PCG21MIMFFBB, getting too cold in fridge section, has anyone experienced damper failures, staying in the open position, also having problems with the ice maker continually making ice with the ice bucket full, any help would be appreciated. regards ace

hi mate, check that the spring on the arm of the icemaker is in place.
other than that, it’s just a matter of having a look.
the damper in the fridge can break causing cold air to blast in, unchecked.

    cheers.

    Hi

The normal problem is that the bottom of the fridge section gets too cold and starts to freeze the salad containers.

This will require a ASM assembly which we hold 3 in stock and as the GE service has now ceased as such you will have great difficulty obtaining the parts.

The arm on the ice maker was modified and I believe that we do or did have some of the arms left.
