Can anyone please tell me what a row of 3 triangles above a row of 4 trianges means please? This a single electric non fan oven that looks fairly old.

Its the only visable symbol but tried selecting it as oven but the kitchen fills with smoke. No idea which is the oven as when i try other settings (guess work as no symbol)it doesn’t cook anything properly

A smoky oven is not a good sign so it is a good idea to switch it off and call out an engineer.
It could be that it’s an old oven like you said and it’s likely that the symbols may have been rubbed off. Obviously I can’t say without seeing the oven which is why I suggested that you should call him out. An good engineer would be familiar with the oven selection and may guide you on it.
