Hi Guys, can any one tell me how easy or difficult it is to do bearings on one of these machines? Would appreciate any tips if it is worth doing.

    Thanks

    Hi Alan

Not much different to any other. Tub out through the front similar to a Hotpoint WF/WMA. Only real difference is a series of lugs around the tub joint which can either be knocked off with a cold chisel or if you have a dremel or the like, it will leave a tidier finish (I just knock them off). The bearing kit (about £25)comes with extra tub screws to compensate for the missing lugs. Never had a call back on one and to be honest don’t get a lot of them to do.

    Hope this helps

Also, when removing drum from cabinet, you will find it necessary to release suspa legs from cabinet base.
