Odd result from replacing brushes in beko w/m

I had a call for a beko that would not spin the brushes were worn out so i replaced them meggered the motor 100m ohms 3 weeks later the motor burn,t out. Thought oh well it happens then today its just happened again on another machine.Now on both these machines i had fitted non genuine brushes never had this happen in 15+ yrs .Has anyone else experienced this could it be to do with the brushes or just that the motors are not of the quality they used to be.Larry.

We had this problem big time with the ISE/BEKO machines a few years back.

The non gen brushes where dreadful, fitting the genuine ones solved the problem and TBH the gen ones are not that expensive.
