    Hi Guys: I’ve Mostly given up doing repairs but a friends Daughter has just asked me to look at 1 of these & I can’t really say no. Anyway the story is that up until this morning it’s been working fine, this morning she put a load of washing in & set it to go. Washing machine starts going ok but after about 5 minutes it stopped with the power light flashing & the Spanner symbol in the display. Anyone any ideas please before I go out & look at it.

    Old I know but thought i’d update it, when I got to the machine it was doing nothing at all & there was garbage in the Display. Just looking at the front panel gave an instant clue, the start button was lower than all the others. Took the PCB out & found the start button had fallen to bits, I allways keep a few Tact switches in my spares kit & replacing the start switch cured the problems.
