Is cust normally using the auto programme if so run it on the 30 min wash and see if it heats if it doe’s then try it on the auto again then if it doesen’t believe it or not even though it appears to be working ok it’s the wash motor at fault. Have you also checked the wiring elbow at the bottom of the door for break’s?

Hi,thanks for the response! checked the loom on the first visit before I ordered any parts .have tried that with the programmes no difference 🙁
Any idea what fails on the motor to give that fault?as it does seem to be pumping water through perfectly??
    thanks

    Re: AEG 911937613 heating fault

We had to uplift one to the workshop as we had paid 5 visits to it and each time it worked because when we were there we only tested it on the 30 min to see if it started to heat and not the auto prog the cust was using. In the workshop though we tested on all progs and it wouldnt no heat on auto setting!! so pcb fitted no change element fitted no change wiring checked water level checked. In the end we asked around and someone suggested the motor and like you we said but thats working it carnt be !! but nothing left to lose as we’d tried everything so we did and it worked. We’ve had two further since in 3 years. If anyone knows why I’d love to know myself ❓ . But just rule out all the normal reasons for this fault first .
