Most likely theres an earth fault on the dryer heater, power off, make a note of where each wire goes on the terminals, tape them to insulate them separately so they touch nothing. Try appliance on wash programme, if it goes o.k without putting up fault code order a new dryer heating element.

If this does’nt cure it E36 refers to a pressure switch fault, so either of the two pressure switches could be faulty, but its most likely an earth fault on dryer heater is giving eroneous error.

    seamy you’re a star!!!!
was about to chuck a good wd in scrap. pressure switch had made no difference.
however now fitted a dryer element and all is good.
happy new year to you and everyone else.
