Currently working on a siemens dishwasher (integrated) se64630gb/29, everyting appears to be working ok except to motor just chuggs along and doesnt seem to be able to drive the water around at full capacity. Im presuming the motor is goosed and is a case for new motor? Any help appreciated

Assuming that you have checked the start capacitor then it might be worth popping the motor out and removing the impeller (unscrews off the shaft) so that you can see if the front bearing is rusted up, if it is then you will need to change the impeller, seal and bearing (602-cz I think from memory).

…..it also may be water starvation? (not enough water in sump) or debris caught in the Impellor? (a small mirror like dentist use ideal to check that out) or none of the above, instead the diverter valve in the heater box jammed closed or partially closed. Certainly not a goose in the motor (whatever that means?).

I looked up ” goosed” on Google and Siemens motors never suffer from a “poke in the buttocks” so do take care when bending over to have a look! :eeek:

Goosed as in the motor is for the bin. Its definitely not water starvation and its not the capacitor. Where abouts is the divertor valve in the heater box?

I very much doubt the motor ready for the bin. The diverter valve is fixed under the heater box.(shown in detail on the .pdf I gave a link to in Tips & Tricks last Monday? 😉
