    This capacitor has just blown and I need to find a new one. Any ideas?

    Its an ARCTRONICS 1.27.6SC3 MKP
    4uF 450v.

    It looks like the capacitors on this site but a slimmer profile and it has the bolt on the bottom.

    There must be somewhere in the UK that sells these. I don’t want to have to get a new dishwasher for want of a £6 capacitor.

    Hi Purple,

    We will be able to get you the correct spare, although most of the capacitors are pretty generic that are in the Shop@ section and would (in all probability) fit.

    Dave will check it and get back to you on Tuesday when we all get back to our desks where the information is.

    As Ken says, a generic one will do just fine.
