    As title really, we have an alcove in kitchen with restricted height (old chimmney), width ok at 980, depth good but just the height.
    Any suggestions of american fridges to fit this or am I going to have to go for a larder fridge and narrow cupboard next to it?

    Hi

    Had a quick scan around, sadly nothing at your height measurement at all I’m afraid.

    So it looks like like option 2 is the way to go.

    This Amana is on ebay, not a good reputation I believe but 1710 high.

    Well..

    As this is one of the original genuine AMANA fridge freezers then it is a very good unit and well worth the £99 if you are near enough to collect it and its working. All the controls are mechanical and far more reliable.
