Hi Jane
Sadly we are unable to advise on DIY gas cooker repairs forum rule here as at the top of the forum.
Not the answer you may have been hoping for but in the interest of gas safety we recommend an LPG Gas Safety engineer is required.
You could try our find an engineer search here for a local one to you.

I’ve got a proper corgi lpg gas engineer chap doing it!
He asked me to check which nos would be in an lpg conversion kit for the 4040 model.

Hi Jane
If you ask your registered gas safe installer to e-mail me his registration number and ID card number.
If he is LPG and cooker authorised then I will forward the relevant details to his companies registered e-mail address.

What a massive overeaction!
I will buy the jets look at the numbers on the side of them & then return -probably unopened-they are so easy to read.He asked me just to double check for him as when i gave him the nos on the lpg jets in the rosieres bag they weren’t quite what he expected the nos to be

Sorry Jane
But the UK has now become a litigation minefield and due to the masses of where there’s blame then there’s a claim ambulance chasers who will try to get you for any amount they can.. Then we have to protect ourselves concerning this.
The new jets will not also tell you which ones go where.
There is also a legal point that unless you are gas safe registered then you cannot work on gas. There was a simple way round this which I did offer.

Jane,
Why do you not contact the manufacturer and ask them which to use??

Downloaded 4040 manual & it gives nos of jets recommended for gas & lpg so all sorted !. Gasman came this morning & converted it. He hadn,t done rosieres before apparently . All fine & working .
H & S is neurotic appreciate your problem !
Ovens work fine but orange lights stay on then go off when oven switched on then off when up to temp -is that normal ?? Yred light only on when one of the ovens is on -
