    Hi
    Someone suggested cleaning the filter might help – the cap is stuck solid and some of the plastic broke off when trying to turn it.
    Any ideas please ?

    Sadly the pump will have to be dismantled completely to rectify this problem. That involves accessing from underneath and great care towards proceeding. If in doubt as to how then calling a local engineer out may be the best solution.
