    Hello,
Can anyone advise please. I have a Hotpoint FDL570 Dishwasher. In all modes it does not heat up, and it lights up the Green Wash light and then flips to the bottom amber/finish. Also in some program settings, it goes through filling and emptying several times and then stays on DRY, but nothing more happens.

    Appreciate any advice, thanks

The heaters (and the motors, electronics, wiring) are all very prone to failure on these Indesit machines.
An electrical test of the heating element, after removing the mains plug would be the first step.

Thanks iadom, if thats the case then I will have a look tomorrow. If the element has gone, does that then make the logic sequence of the controller jump passed events because it cannot sense heat?

Using my iPad ATM, don’t have full access to error codes and its to late to fire up my main PC. 😉

The heater on these is integral to the circulation pump housing but the heater terminals can be accessed from underneath.

If the heater is OK then the wiring in the door would be the next thing to check, after that you are left with the pcb.

Many thanks again for your replies. I will look tomorrow and check your suggestions out. Wife is moaning at me now as I ignored all the Hotpoint offers on warranty extentions, which I thought was expensive at the time but now onder. Regards
