This t/d shuts down after about 10 mins – all lights out- dead, then will restart after about 15 mins – seems like an o/heat stat resetting . Is this like the hotpoint t/dryers where the supply goes through the stats and if they fail nothing works or is there a component on the pcb intermittantly failing? Any ideas appreciated.

most likely the pcb however dont rule out the socket/plug, if you have a poor connection in the wall socket it can cause overheating in the plug. Does the plug get hot in use? it shouldnt. if not probably the pcb.

Did you ever find the answer to this? I’ve been to one doing exactly the same. Everything seems clean and clear and fault occurs on timed or sensor cycles. Any clues please.

Cut off the moulded plug and replaced – must have been heating up inside – worked ok since
