    Top off
    Sides off
Warm belt up on a radiator or similar
Lean rear away from front panel and slide belt over drum reft drum onto front air duct
Fit lh side panel viewed from from front.
Now fit belt over motor shaft with Hotpoint belt fitting tool or a cheaper alternative that I use a 12″ length of copper pipe will fit over motor shaft and you have the leverage to stretch the belt and roll it onto the motor shaft.
Make sure belt is aligned correctly with existing marks on the drum.
Refit side panel and then role drum a full revolution by hand making sure the belt is on the existing marks on drum.
    Refit lid and test.

Im struggling to get belt over tensioner fixed to rear of motor as its very tight.
Ive tried taking tensioner off but cannot manoeuvre belt as its so tight.

Sorry are we talking condensor model?
If so take heater cover off and fan you will see 4 8mm screws that hold the motor remove them
Rotate motor to get the belt on then looking at the motor you will see screws holding the casings together put plumbing pliers through one and use as a leaver turn the motor until you can get the screws back in.
    Hope this helps
