    Guys,

Visited a Beko WM5140W a few days ago, customer was concerned that the machine didn’t finish a cycle properly.

It was evident that when I selected a cycle the machine continually pumped out until turned off. This happened repeatedly until I selected another program and then turned the machine off and on again (on the on/off selector). The machine then pumped out for a split second before running correctly. At first I thought it just a user error as she said that she’s been playing witht he program selector to get it working. I did examine the machine including visual inspection of the board, brushes, pump and pressure switch. It seemed to work as I left.

A day or so later the customer called to say the machine had gone back to it’s old self, it had done one wash fine but then continually pumped out.

I’m thinking PCB problems, any pointers ewould be appreciated.

I had a similar problem a month or so ago, albeit with a different model.. nevertherless, the issue was very similar and just as intermittant… The problem turned-out to be a partial blockage in the pressure switch/pressure switch tube.

    Thanks George.

Checked the pressure switch and all seemed ok, very odd. Might be worth another look just in case I overlooked anything.
