ParticipantI’ve had the Indesit idl40 slimeline dishwasher for about 3 years now, it’s used at least once every day. I put it on the first program and left it to do it’s job. When I came to unload it later I noticed the 3rd green light flashing and it hasn’t cleaned the dishes, or even taken the tablet that was loaded and there is no evidence that water has been let into the machine at all. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I apologise if this problem has been sorted before, when I looked around for it I couldn’t find a topic about the 3rd light. Thanks again,

If you have forgotten to turn the water tap on, your appliance will
remind you of this with the rapid flashing of the indicator lights 2
and 3 (wash and rinses). Turn the appliance off at the ON-OFF
button, turn on the water tap and wait approximately 20 seconds
before turning the appliance back on; repeat the programming
operations and the selected wash cycle will start up again.Martin

I don’t touch the water tap inbetween washes, so I can’t see how it could be that. I’ll see if there is a problem with the water inlet later though. Thanks.

I have the same issue – just the 3rd (rinse) light flashing. Nothing has changed with the water inlet. The machine rinses for a bit (I am not sure if this is the full cycle or not), and then stops and the 3rd light flashes. Any ideas?

Fault is A04.
The Machine has detected no Thermistor Circuit.
Replace the timer card. The thermistor is integrated into the timer card or module.April 2, 2013 at 4:45 pm #386181andrewhmck

Thanks for the info. I looked them up and they’re £75 and I don’t know how to fit them, so think it’s game over.
