I’d be answering with two words and the second one would be “off”

They don’t half get stroppy and huffy when you say no.
Told me I wasted his time and claimed I emailed him for information. Well he lies like a cheap watch because the address he claims we sent the email from is never used for emailing out.
Bunch of chancers if you ask me…. but I didn’t refuse point blank. I did say if they want work done they can pay upfront with a credit card but as for the £150 they can forget about that. I don’t think he was impressed.
What did impress me though was he can talk non-stop for several minutes without stopping to inhale.

If this is their website, it looks like a scam to me:
Broken links on website, no obvious way for customers to access their services, premises not listed on the Royal Mail address file, asking for money up front from traders, etc.

Parent company history: http://mainframegroup.net/history.html
Not a small company on the face of it and advertises as being FSA Regulated.

Just had a call from them.
Actually quite rude, because when I said ‘wait, you charge me £150 to do your work?’ they just hung up on me..I didn’t even get time to mock them over the phone. 🙁

Got the same call from them too this morning. Not sure where they got the details from. Looks a bit iffy if you ask me by the looks of their website.
They says they have 3-4000 customers on their books. The law of advertising you get 1{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} response, so what the chances having a job with them? Slim to none.
It’s good to have ukw to warn us so keep up with good work.

Being nosey, I looked on the site for an appliance repair in my area.
Got this:- Repairers in Bristol Can’t say I know them, but look well established
If you move onto their website:- Bloke in Blue boiler suit The guy is refitting the outer door seal band to a Zanussi Z919T (Trip down memory lane for me)
Bristol traditionally has a shortage of good appliance repairers, (too many chimney pots, not enough repair companies) so it does surprise me there is a need for them to use Homefix.
You never know it may well work for them?
