ParticipantThis machine cuts out a few seconds after starting to fill. The test program is showing an error [at first briefly E35] but now only E31, an ‘analogic pressure switch’ problem according to the error code list. It’s not clear from the flowchart how to test this device properly; does anybody know? The pressure tubes are clear and the cable from the switch to the board is ok. The ordinary pressure switch is working normally except that level 2 operates just before level 1, but the machine stops filling before the water level is high enough to operate it. Can anybody suggest what’s happening here? Many thanks, Geoff.

Have you got the TDS disk Geoff ?
Have a look at the troubleshooting guide, there’s a bit there about these analogic switches.
I found this bit:
Measure a close circuit between J4-3,
J4-4 and J4-5 and the 3 connector on
analogic pressure switch plug (they are 3
independent connections)
Is the cable between main board and
analogic pressure switch OK and
connected correctly on both sides?Dave.

Hi Dave , thanks for the reply. Yes I’ve got the TDS disc and I had found that but it doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense when you’re looking at the switch. Icertainly don’t get a ‘close circuit’ when testing across the switch contacts but an open circuit, so I suspect this is the problem. I was just hoping for confirmation from someone familiar with the problem. Geoff

I had a fault on a similar machine. It would lock the door, briefly fill then unlock the door. Same fault code too and I did check pressure hoses, all were ok. Changed main module ( you will need coding sheet if not pre coded); and all worked fine. Hope that helps. 😉
