Whirlpool ADG 6340 Dishwasher Overfils

I have a Whirlpool ADG 6340 Dishwasher. It keeps filling until it over fills and the water comes out of the overflow pipes. Water indicator W1 works fine the flow meter works fine. Whilst it is filling the light on the front flashes in sympathy with the water inlet valve WV1, switching on and off. Similarly when the DPM is pumping the light also flashes in time with it.
