    hi all
    Im Marc new to the forum and Desperate
    i have a stoves oven 900dfa and the thermostat has packed in
    i have tried to get another but am told itd obsolete the part number is 082269300 can anyone help i cant afford a new oven for sure
    any help gratefully recieved

    Contact Stoves or contact an Engineer, the 43THC83/HO t’stat is obselete, theres a replacement thermostat kit to be fitted, which includes an EGO thermostat, a switch which piggy backs on front of thermostat, some cable links & a wiring diagram.
    Not a DIY job i’m afraid.

    Where can i get this replacement kit,
    I have been trying for the last two months to find a thermostat for my 900 Dfa but everyone is saying its obsolete and there is no replacement,

    Have you tried Stoves as Seamy suggested? Stoves contact details here for spares and service engineers.

    Yea contacted stoves over a month a ago the part is obsolete and there is no known equivalent or replacement part,

    Was told by a few engineer’s that i will have to replace the cooker,
    I hope someone can help as it is still in great condition

    I suggest you PM Seamy as he reckons it can be done AND, whilst he says it is not a DIY job, could at least shed further light on your dilemma. 💡
