Hi, looking for help please.
Had to take my TVR2 apart to clear some lint and the wires came off the control panel/timer as I was doing it. Just need ot know where they go back please.
Creda want to charge me £33 for a service manual but I just need a few pointers or if some has a phoot of where the wires go.
Wires I have are:
Orange
Blue
Pink/White
Double Blue
Grey
Red
Black (2 of them)

You must have pulled all of those wires off individually, almost impossible to remove ALL of the wires just by cleaning it ?

I don’t understand your point, Rule 8 also states experts can point people in the right direction. I took the machine apart to clean it. The wires came off as they got snagged on part of the chassis when I was trying to reposition the drum – does that help explain how the wires came off – does it really matter? Also I didn’t say all the wires came off – I just listed the full set as there are several different wiring combinations for this machine and this helps identify which it is.

OK, I see the rule – would this also apply to a photo of the panel with wires in place ?
If it makes any difference I am qualified in electronics & electrical eng, more importantly my other half needs her tumble dryer working over Christmas?!
Any other advice ?

Re rule 8 – surely it’s just as dangerous as soon as anyone opens the machine, and most of the advice here assumes that will happen. There’s no way to know the people doing that won’t leave it plugged in and do something stupid !Re: Creda TVR2 Wiring Diagram
Even with your qualifications you didnt have the foresight to mark the wires or take a picture.

As well as the competency issue Rule 8 also allows for the fact that wiring and circuit diagrams are proprietary in nature and as such it would be a breach of copyright if we were to distribute such information, this would include photos of any proprietary information should any member have such, which I doubt.
