I have dropped my wedding ring into a washer. I can hear it rattling around but it is not in the drum. Where could it be please?

If you can get one of the drum paddles off you may be able to fish it out that way, generic instructions here:

If not, then you may need to get an engineer in to try to get it out through the heater hole or the sump hose if you can’t do that yourself.

If you value the ring then do not use the machine, an engineer will be able to retreive it for a labour fee,

As DrDill says the only solution will be to completely dismantle the tub to retrieve the ring. It is almost certainly stuck on the rim of the inner drum, there’s a protruding ridge and as you rotate the drum the ring will simply roll around in that ridge. There is insufficient gap between the plastic outer tub and the inner stainless drum to allow retrieval any other way unfortunately. 🙁
