I don’t do many dishwashers and I was asked to look at this the other day whilst at a customers house. The m/c is dead (no display)and I have traced a live feed from the mains filter, through the on/off switch to the pcb.I could see no visible faults on the board but suspect this to be the culprit.
Could someone advise if these fail and are they expensive ?

Yes mate , they do occasionally fail and with the symptoms you describe. It wouldn’t surprise me if when questioned , the customer says that they leave it switched on after the cycles finished. The constant supply to the power relay is a probable cause.

Thanks Paul I’ll ask if they leave it switched on.Do you know if the pcb is plug in and play or will it require any configuration ?

The Control Unit will need configuring but the ‘simple to do’ instructions are included in the box as a rule. (Unless you buy from Connect that is. :rolls: )

Thanks Martin, I’ll try to get one through Qualtex. Seems odd that Connect don’t supply the instruction sheet is it not a genuine part ?

don’t you have an account with BSH? Far cheaper buying direct from them!

Many guys that use Connect say that that is often what happens. Which doesn’t surprise me as Connect are an odd bunch of ???????’s
